On 12 April 2024, on the initiative of the Manifest 2020 association, the partners of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) from Slovakia and Central Europe met in Bratislava for one of the NEB festival events. The NEB Conference in Central Europe (Forum for partners and supporters of the New European Bauhaus initiative) was held under the auspices of the President of the Slovak Republic, Mrs. Zuzana Čaputová, the Representation of the European Commission in Slovakia and the Slovak Chamber of Architects.

At the end of the conference, the representatives of the Slovak NEB partners agreed on a joint statement in the form of the NEB SK 2024 Declaration.

The Declaration calls on the Government of the Slovak Republic, the announcers of urban planning, architectural and design competitions, public and private media, educational and research and development institutions, municipalities, regions, cities and municipalities, public organisations; representatives of civil society, the private sector, individuals, investors and clients to follow the principles of the New European Bauhaus initiative in their work.

The New European Bauhaus has become a recognised initiative since its inception and the interconnection of its three pillars – environmental sustainability, social inclusion and new aesthetics (cultural value) – deserves broad-based political and media support.
